I went to multiple eateries on New Years, but the one thing I had that stood out the most would definitely be SAM'S SUNDAE @ Bi-Rite Creamery. This isn't your mundane, everyday, canned whip-on-the-side ice cream combi; this is a true connoisseur's ice cream sundae. Two scoops of not-over-the-top, just-right chocolate decadence, a generous dollop of freshly whipped house cream, all topped off with sea salt and drizzled with a lemon infused olive oil. Individually, these various ingredients don't stand out as much as they should, but together they deliver an absolutely amazing experience. A rich, creamy, lightly sweetened chocolate flavor with a burst of salt and a refreshing citrus aftertaste. Fan-freaking-tastic, fit to be the first dessert of the decade!
