New Shirts!

Once in a blue moon, I decide to buy new clothes, so when I do, it's a bit of a big deal.
There was a sale online on a sporting goods store that specialized in NB gear (Joe's New Balance Outlet). Not having a decent change of breathable workout shirts, I decided to buy one. Well, I ended up buying two instead of the original one that I had planned for. Oh yeah, I like the color black. Especially wearing it.

The one that first caught my eye was the New Balance Cocona Running shirt:

On the website, the shirt depicted had a slight tapering around the waist, I really like wearing shirts like these because it aids in creating a concaving slope that helps my already short torso appear longer. I was a bit skeptical about the shirt actually being like this in reality because most retailers just create this effect by pulling the sides of the shirt together and pinning them in the back. I still went ahead and bought it because, not gonna lie, but 71% off is a pretty good deal. Not to mention its got a headphone wire-friendly design!

As I double-checked my order, I decided to browse through the pages once more in hopes of finding something even more reduced in price. There were a couple of pairs of attractive activewear pants, but then they were all too expensive. I was about to give up and place my order when another black shirt caught my eye, the Warrior:

I've never heard of this brand before, but after doing some research, found it to be a brand designed for lacrosse players. Hmm, lacrosse. A grassy field, sprinting, big sticks, sweaty white people. Yeah, I didn't know much about the sport. But it seemed badass enough to warrant a quality company/manufacturer, so I went with it because it was cheap enough. And black.

Comments: After wearing both for a couple of days, I much prefer the NB shirt. It's form-fitting, but not obnoxiously so. It complements my body shape (has the taper!) and feels extremely comfortable. The simple design is attractive and it just feels good wearing it. The Warrior on the other hand is a bit tight around the shoulders. I don't even have shoulders... The sleeves run down to about an inch up from my elbows and are really tight, form-fitting to the point of being uncomfortable. It feels more like Under Armour, really. Not the best, but good enough for a $13 shirt!
