The Package
Finally have time to write about these single serving-sized cups of Ben&Jerry's.
Here we go!
COOKIE DOUGH, just the very thought of it makes me squirm with giddy delight. I chose this flavor because I LOVE cookie dough in ice cream. It's not good for you, but if you're going to eat something for pleasure, might as well make it worthwhile!
The packaging is somewhat of an ode to Japanese ingenuity: the black plastic lid holds a paper lid in place, sandwiching a tiny white plastic spoon for your scooping pleasure. Everything is tiny D:
Impressions...
Texture: not as soft/creamy as I expected of B&J's ice cream. It was a bit hard to dig through relative to other swirled flavors. Might have been the high specific heat cap. of the plastic as opposed to metal spoons... Hmm. Chocolate chip cookie dough bits were tiny, almost grainy because of it. Gah.
Taste: first flavor that hits my taste buds was vanilla. Then came the doughy-tasting cookie dough and finally the chocolate as it melted. Not bad... The doughy taste didn't appeal to me as much as I thought it would.
Overall: 4/10. Not much to say here. Didn't enjoy the texture n'or the taste. Might have been the size factor that affected taste, but the texture is definitely not there.
