Yes, I've been starving myself intentionally, every night, because of a fervent lust for oatmeal... WHY?! I don't like eating late at night, not feel hungry in the morning, and subsequently deprive myself of the pleasures of that daily bowl of breakfast oatmeal.
I know I'm weird.
Here's what I've had the past two days:
PURPLE OATMEAL: 1/2 cup mixed berries
1/3 cup Rolled Oats
1tsp Brown Rice
1tsp Instant Steel Cut Oats
1/2 cup Water (1/4 Cup used for soaking overnight)
1/2 cup Milk
1 tsp Agave Nectar
1 packet Equal
Topped w/ Almond Meal and a mix of Nuts
Spoonful of Almond Butter
RAISIN OATMEAL:
1tsp Brown Rice
1tsp Instant Steel Cut Oats
1/2 Cup Water (1/4 to soak overnight)
pinch of salt
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1tbsp Raisins (soaked overnight w/ rest of ingredients)
1/2 Cup Milk
1tsp Honey
1 packet Equal
Couple of Nuts and Trader Joe's Fiber O's for that extra Crunch
Spoonful of Almond Butter

After mixing... The O's got soggy D:
Yup, I really enjoyed these bowls. Think I'll try more things in the near future.
Oh, and I scoop up a spoonful of almond butter to top everything off because I'm given the opportunity to DIRTY UP THE CLEAN SPOON. Don't have to contaminate the jar of almond butter with a dirty spoon!
PS: Lost my awesome NF blue thermal today. It had cool thumb holes and kept me warm on many-an-occasion. You will be missed, awesome NF blue thermal.

You and Nina need to get together and wax poetic about oatmeal. I think she eats it straight up plain though.
