Seba Jun, under the alias Nujabes was a DJ, producer, music extraordinary. Based in Japan, he not only took his native country by storm, but also became world-renown as a respectable artist. His music was different: it had soul.

His music inspired, motivated, lifted, touched the hearts of millions.

To me, his music is more than just music. It has meaning, purpose, and seems almost alive, coaxing playfully, my ears, my senses, me as a whole. It calms me when I'm stressed and can't sleep; I can't even begin to count how many times I've fallen asleep to Jun's music. It inspires when inspiration won't come.

I can't imagine a me without the influence Jun's music has had on me.

Seba Jun passed away in February of the year 2010. The world will never know another artist in the hip-hop genre as truly great as Jun.

Music is eternal, Nujabes lives on.
